Little Lewis Kennel

Each stay at our dog kennel includes personalized feeding schedules, early-morning potty breaks, extra breaks throughout the day, and extended outside afternoon time in our large yards. We also provide a final potty break late in the evening, just before bedtime, so dogs can settle in comfortably. Nothing is rushed — every dog sets their own pace. Our dog care services feature a small, homey setting with personalized attention and no upcharges; all comfort, care, and cuddles are included. To ensure the safety of all dogs, we do not offer group play in our pet boarding facility.

We maintain a peaceful, predictable atmosphere for dogs who are comfortable with our dog care services and love staying in a dog kennel. However, we are not equipped to handle dogs that experience anxiety, reactivity, aggression, or significant stress in a pet boarding environment. 

If your dog becomes overly stressed or disrupts the comfort of our other guests, we will contact you or your emergency contact for immediate pickup. Our priority is the safety, well-being, and positive experience of every dog in our care.

We truly love and respect all dogs, including strong and loyal breeds like Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Cane Corsos, and Mastiffs. Our small, family-operated dog kennel is designed for dogs whose handling needs align with our space and staffing. These powerful breeds often require more specialized strength-based handling than our pet boarding services can provide in a home environment. To ensure the safety and comfort of every dog and caregiver, we aren’t able to accommodate these breeds at this time.

Enjoy our dog care services with the following rates for pet boarding: 

1 room, 1 dog, per night $40  

1 room, 2 dogs, per night $60  

1 room, 3 dogs, per night $75  

2 rooms, 1 dog in each room, per night $80  

For those requiring additional space in our dog kennel, it’s $15 per additional dog after 2 dogs (staying in the same room).

All dogs must be current on the following vaccinations before boarding:

• Rabies

• Distemper/Parvo (DHPP)

• Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

Please allow 15 days after any vaccination before boarding to ensure your dog feels their best during their stay.

Vaccination records may be sent by screenshot or email, as long as all information is clear and readable.

When booking our dog care services, please provide your drop-off and pick-up time, an emergency contact, your veterinarian’s contact information, and your email address to receive our waiver. 

Our dog kennel offers drop-off and pick-up windows from 8-10 am and 4-6 pm, and we are CLOSED on WEDNESDAY.

Please note that vaccination records and waivers MUST be completed and signed prior to confirming your reservation for pet boarding.

At our dog kennel, we ensure your pet’s comfort by providing clean bowls for both food and water during their stay with our dog care services. Please remember to bring your dog’s food, clearly labeled with their name, feeding instructions, and the daily quantity required for their stay in our pet boarding facility.  

We do not charge extra for medications; simply bring them in the original packaging with clear written instructions so we can administer them safely and accurately.  

Bedding is available upon request, or you are welcome to bring your own.  

(Please note that some dogs may chew or damage their bedding during their stay.)

As this is our private residence where we offer dog care services and have many dogs and children, all visits are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please refrain from making unannounced visits.

We are closed for drop-offs and pick-ups on Wednesdays and also on the following holidays: Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
